“The installation «Leute machen Kleider» criticises fast fashion and consumerism. The hanging cut off shirts represent the broken souls of the seamstresses, which suffer from bad working conditions, overwork and underpayment. The artwork was installed in a bunker, and it was possible to walk through it. It’s important to know that the used shirts were already old and broken, so it wasn’t possible to bring them to a thrift store or to donate them. ”
