“I create every day, at all times. It can be only in my head, it can be by writing my thoughts and poerty, drawing, collage, or to build a project.
All I know is that I need to do it.
I do not consider myself a particularly visual person, but I definitely create my own "spaces". By photographing and developing all types of images, I provide a new environment to immerse oneself to.”
Marta, a visual artist based in Lisbon, Portugal.
My favourite mediums are photography (analog and digital), as well as mixed media and some drawing.
My pieces are generally autobiographical, mainly related to impermanence, eternal change, similarities and differences between spaces, personal exploration, and documenting the beauty in the mundane.
Born and raised in Lisbon, with ancestry from Alentejo.
