“If a soup bowl is about to fall, the liquid inside stays level. Falling soup performs a certain resistance—a gravitational force she holds naturally. I found soup’s s(o)uperpower in a time of change and loss, looking for strength, soul, solace. «Soup» is made of broken found objects that weren’t planned but just fit together. Abandoned and fragile pieces, collectively falling yet finding a way to hold each other in balance—in friction, in yearning—a poem, a spill of warm soup in your tummy.”
Little moments of disorder—struggle, nonsense, nuisance, a new sense—becoming tentative shifts in perspective that make life feel a bit bigger. Across sculpture, painting and poetry, Zora traces the quiet absurdities of everyday life as something to investigate, learn from, and cherish. She is currently studying Fine Arts at ZHdK in Zurich
